Popular Hillsdale Firefighter, 48, Found Dead In SUV In River Vale A popular Hillsdale firefighter was found dead in his SUV Thursday in the upper Hackensack River in River Vale after apparently suffering a heart attack, responders said. John Inserra, 48, was married with three young children -- two boys and a girl. He coached and was extremely active in local youth sports, including softball and wrestling. Inserra was reported missing after he headed to the a gym in Norwood early Thursday and wasn't heard from again, close friends said. Video: Firefighters Douse Wind-Driven Blaze At Hackensack Cosmetics Factory UPDATE: Hackensack firefighters doused a wind-driven blaze Friday night at a cosmetics factory. The three-alarm fire broke out at Biogenesis on Wysocki Place around 6:15 p.m. and collapsed part of the roof, responders said.  Firefighters knocked the blaze down within a half-hour and continued to battle deep pockets of flame until it was considered under control around 7:20 p.m. A Bergen County Hazardous Materials Unit also responded because of the chemicals inside the truss-roof factory.
