She is survived by her son, Benjamin; her father Dennis Farrell; her mother and stepfather Alice and Anthony Vetter; her sister Diana Farrell; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.
Loved ones described her as a devoted mother and homemaker "who radiated kindness, warmth, and humble determination," and who loved animals and simple pleasures like music and swimming. She also had an artistic flair and a talent for drawing.
"But above all," loved ones wrote, "Ashley treasured her loving family, and nothing meant more to her than the bond she shared with them. She will be deeply missed but the countless and unforgettable memories of her will remain in the hearts of those whose lives she touched."
Arrangements were by Dworzanski & Son Funeral Home. A funeral Mass was officiated by Father Lukasz Kleczka of St. John Paul II Parish of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, followed by a private cremation.
