21 Hospitalized, 1 MedEvaced After PA Football Team Crashes: EMS Twenty-one people were hospitalized after a school bus carrying Aliquippa Junior High football players crashed on Shaffer Road in Economy Borough, Beaver County EMS said. Police, fire, and EMS were called to the 190 block of Shaffer Road for the crash involving a bus with students and staff from the Aliquippa School District around 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23, according to officials. Services Announced For NJ HS Coach Killed In Quadruple-Fatal NY Parkway Crash Family and friends will gather next week to say goodbye to Robert “Rob” Violante, a beloved New Jersey high school coach and educator from Westchester County who was tragically killed in a fatal crash on the Taconic State Parkway in New York.  Violante, age 45, of the hamlet of Granite Springs in Somers, was driving home from work on Wednesday, May 14, when his vehicle was struck head-on by a van that crossed the median near mile marker 9.2 in New Castle, as previously reported by Daily Voice.
