12-Hour SWAT Standoff Ends In Arrest Of Wanted Man, Handgun Seized In Hudson County: Cops A 12-hour standoff involving a barricaded individual in Hudson County ended with the arrest of a 37-year-old man, the discovery of a loaded handgun and suspected drugs in his apartment, police announced. The Guttenberg incident began around 1:12 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4, when officers were called to an apartment building near 70th Street and Hudson Avenue for a report of possible burglary and criminal mischief, the agency said in a news release.
