24 Condos Destroyed By Fire In East Windsor Residents of 24 condominiums in East Windsor were displaced by a fire, authorities said. On Monday, June 10, at approximately 4:30 p.m., East Windsor Township police responded to a reported structure fire at building K of the American Way Condos on Avon Drive.  The first responding police officers observed heavy smoke and flames coming from the second floor on the north end of the structure. Woman, 21, Shot At Large House Party In Central Jersey A 21-year-old woman was shot at a large party Friday night, June 7 in Highland Park, authorities said. Police were dispatched to the 200 block of South 7th Avenue at about 11:30 p.m. after getting a call about a disturbance. They found the woman shot three times, Highland Park police said. Drag Racing Causes Route 1 Crash That Injures 2 In Edison Drag racers on Route 1 led to a crash in Edison that seriously injured two people on Thursday, May 23, authorities said. Police were looking for two vehicles that may have contributed to the crash: a white Infiniti G35 and a black Honda Accord, according to police. Two people suffered broken bones as a result of the crash, police said. There were large traffic jams during an investigation of the crash.
