Workers Killed By Train On Bridge Connecting NJ, PA Identified
A pair of workers who were struck and killed by a train on the Benjamin Franklin Bridge connecting New Jersey and Pennsylvania last week have been identified by colleagues. Donato G. Fiocca, 53, and Victor R. Martins, 55, were working on the bridge when they were fatally struck in Camden around 9:20 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14. Both men were members of the Cement Masons and Plasterers' Local 592, Fiocca for 25 years and Martins for 8. PA Man Acquitted Of Murder Charge: Report
A 41-year-old central Pennsylvania man was acquitted of attempted murder this week, PennLive reports. Patrick Brown was accused of fatally shooting another man on Dec. 11, 2020, on the 1400 block of State Street in Harrisburg, the outlet says. Brown was charged after the victim identified him as the shooter from a series of photos of Brown and seven other people, police told the outlet. PA Appeals Court Denies 'Sex Slave' Serial Rapist's Bid To Leave Prison Before Age 103
Pennsylvania serial rapist Seth Mull won't be getting out of prison any time soon. A state appeals court on Thursday denied the 33-year-old inmate's bid to leave prison before his term of 78 years to life is up, PennLive reports. He will not be eligible for parole until he is 103 years old. Mull was convicted of rape and human trafficking after a single trial in 2018. A Newville adoptive mother facing charges for making one of her children sick has been accused in another incident in which a child was choked by her husband.
