The New Jersey State Attorney General's Office has released bodycam footage of a police involved shooting that left a 39-year-old man dead. Police were called to a home on Elizabeth Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Dec. 5, 2023, for a man later identified as Shannon Rose, 39, of Manchester, who was in distress, the AG's office said (scroll for video). Gymnastics Coach Sexually Assaulted Three Teen Athletes On Jersey Shore: Prosecutor
A former Jersey Shore gymnastics coach has been accused of sexually assaulting three of his teenage athletes, authorities announced. Sasha C. Raught, 55, of Manchester Township is charged with aggravated sexual assault and three counts of sexual assault, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago. An investigation by members of the MCPO Special Victims Bureau revealed that Raught entered into sexual relationships with three of his former athletes when they were each teenagers, Santiago said. Death Of Former Manchester High School Custodian, 55, Ruled Homicide
A 55-year-old Manchester Township man whose body was found in a local home was killed, authorities said Wednesday. The body of Frank Stochel, who'd been a custodian at Manchester High School, was found on the floor of a 6th Avenue home in the township's Pine Lake Park section by police who responded to a call Monday of an unresponsive victim, they said.
