Hunterdon County Native, Former Firefighter John Franks Dies, 39 Hunterdon County Native, Former Firefighter John Franks Dies, 39
Hunterdon County Native, Former Firefighter John Franks Dies, 39 Hunterdon County native and former Frenchtown firefighter John Franks died Nov. 24 at the age of 39. Born in Raritan Township, Franks graduated from Delaware Valley Regional High School, his obituary says. He later attended the American Motorcycle Institute (AMI) in Daytona Beach, FL, where he specialized in Ducati motorcycle repair, his memorial says. Franks then worked at Michael Andretti Powersports in Phillipsburg and Flemington Yamaha before becoming an automotive tire technician at BJ’s Wholesale in Flemington.
