Driver Airlifted After Inhaling Chemicals, Going Into Respiratory Distress In Morris County: PD
A driver was flown to a nearby hospital Wednesday, April 12 after inhaling chemicals during a mold remediation project at a Morris County basement earlier in the day, police said. Mendham Police pulled over the driver near the Mendham Village Shopping Center on East Main Street around 11:40 a.m. and “quickly learned that the driver was in respiratory distress,” Chief John S. Camoia said in a release. The distress was found to be a result of the driver “inhaling chemicals at a local residence while conducting a mold remediation in a basement,” Camoia added. Motorcyclist Ejected, Killed In Route 94 Crash
A motorcyclist was ejected and killed in a weekend crash with a Honda on Route 94 in Warren County, police confirmed. The crash occurred just before 2:50 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, Blairstown Police Chief Scott Johnsen told DailyVoice.com. A four-door Honda sedan was stopped at Vail Road and Rt. 94 and did not see the motorcyclist before attempting to make a left turn, Johnsen said. Unconscious Woman Found Bleeding In Sussex County Driveway Flown To Hospital (

Emergency crews in Sussex County came to the rescue of an unconscious woman who was found bleeding in her driveway. The Lakeland Emergency Squad responded to the Forrest Lakes section of Byram on Monday, July 25, the department said. Upon arrival, crew members found the victim unconscious and bleeding and determined that she was suffering life-threatening injuries. Atlantic Air One medical helicopter was called to take the woman to Morristown Medical Center for treatment. The initial cause of the woman’s injuries were not immediately clear. Both drivers were hospitalized following a Monday night crash involving a commercial paver in Morris County, authorities said. A pickup truck driver who died in a head-on Warren County crash has been identified by New Jersey State Police as a 19-year-old Florida man. Robert Johnston, of Fort Lauderdale, was behind the wheel of a Dodge Ram when he crossed into the eastbound lanes of Route 46, hitting a GMC Sierra towing a Coachmen Camper head on around 11:05 p.m. Sunday near milepost 13.6 in Liberty Township, Sgt. Police ID Victim Of Fatal Route 206 Mount Olive Crash
A 34-year-old Flanders man died after being slammed by an SUV Thursday while he was attempting a left turn onto Route 206, authorities said. Frank Iaconio Jr. was trying to turn onto the highway in Flanders when a 56-year-old Flanders man in a 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe struck the driver's side of his vehicle, Mount Olive Police Sgt. Eric Anthony told the Daily Record. Iaconio was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center by Atlantic Air One following the 10:50 a.m. crash.
