NJ Gunman Indicted On Charges From Double Shooting
A Mercer County man has been indicted on attempted murder charges stemming from a New Brunswick shooting last year, authorities said. Kyale Simonson, 33, was indicted Wednesday by a Middlesex County Grand Jury with charges for first-degree attempted murder, second-degree aggravated assault and second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said. A 32-year-old man from Mercer County has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Middlesex County last month, authorities said. Kyale Simonson of East Windsor was charged with two counts of first-degree attempted murder and several weapons charges, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and New Brunswick Police Department Director Anthony A. Authorities are investigating a shooting that sent two men to the hospital in Central Jersey. The New Brunswick men, ages 27 and 31, were taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick with serious gunshot wounds, authorities said.
