Man Pulled From Schuylkill River In Pennsylvania, Police Say

An investigation is underway after a man was pulled from the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia early Wednesday, June 4, police said.

Officers and fire crews responded to 3844 Falls Road in the city's 39th District around 5:31 a.m., according to the department.

The adult male was recovered from the river and taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center by Fire Department medics, authorities said.

The case is being handled by Central Detectives.
