US Marshals Arrest Suspect Who Cops Say Stole Car Parts From NJ Dealership
A Camden man accused of stealing wheels and tires from multiple vehicles at an Evesham Township car dealership has been apprehended by members of the US Marshals Service following an extensive investigation, police said. On Dec. 9, 2024, Evesham police officers responded to Burns Honda on Route 73 for a report of multiple new vehicles on the lot that had their wheels and tires stolen. Detectives from the Evesham Investigative Bureau processed the crime scene and launched an investigation. Two brothers were recently arrested and charged for a shooting that occurred in Hamilton last year, authorities said. At 10:50 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 23, officers responded to the 2500 block of Liberty Street on a report of two people shot, who were en route to a nearby hospital Hamilton police said. Video surveillance showed a dark colored sedan pulling into the driveway with two individuals exiting the vehicle and going toward the rear of the residence, police said. A state grand jury declined to indict the officers involved in the fatal shooting of a 41-year-old Brooklyn man in South Brunswick last January, authorities said. Shamar Leggette was shot by members of the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024 at a motel room in South Brunswick. Legette had been wanted for robbing "Bling Bishop" Lamor Whitehead from Paramus in Bergen County, New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin said. Jersey Shore Performing Arts HS Teacher Molested Female Student, Prosecutors Say
A former teacher at an Ocean County performing arts high school was accused of molesting a female student, authorities said. Douglas Bollinger, 56, of Neptune City, was charged on Monday, Aug. 12 with two counts each of endangering the welfare of a child and criminal sexual contact, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said in a news release.
