Crime-Busting Haledon Police Pair Seize Loaded Guns In Separate Traffic Stops
A pair of Haledon police officers seized guns in separate traffic stops as part of a year-long law enforcement initiative that authorities say has been a huge success. One of the stops involved an ex-con with a suspended license who wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was drinking tequila when police said they stopped him for failing to signal a turn and found a loaded revolver and hollow-nose bullets in his SUV. : Police Seek Help Finding Haledon Man
SEEN HIM? Detectives from the Haledon Police Department’s Investigative and Special Services Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Haledon resident Felix DeJesus, who was reported missing by his family last week. DeJesus was last seen in the area Oak and Summer streets in Paterson around 6 p.m. last Wednesday, Feb. 2, Capt. George Guzman said. His family reported him missing the next day, Guzman said. Haledon PD: WPU Police Help Crack $6,250 Convenience Store Burglary From 2020, Wayne Man Nabbed
GOTCHA! A Haledon convenience store burglary case was nearly turning cold when police at William Paterson University identified a suspect from Wayne. The burglar who stole $6,000 worth of cigarettes and more than $250 in cash after smashing the front door of the 777 Food Store on Haledon Avenue with a rock shortly before 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 16 of last year had distinctive tattoos on his hand, Capt..
