State Police: Warren County Man, 55, Killed In Route 80 Crash With Parked Tractor-Trailer
A 55-year-old Hackettstown man was killed in a Wednesday evening crash with a parked tractor-trailer on Route 80 eastbound, state police said. Walter Pasuco was driving a Hyundai on Route 80 in Parsippany when he crashed into the back of a Volvo tractor-trailer that was parked in the eastbound right shoulder near milepost 40.4 just before 4:15 p.m., NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry told Daily Voice. Pasuco was killed in the crash, Curry said. The right lane of Route 80 east was closed for about four hours, causing moderate traffic congestion, Curry said. Driver Hospitalized In 3-Car Route 287 Parsippany Crash
One driver was hospitalized after three cars collided on Route 287 South in Parsippany Friday morning, state police said. The crash — involving a Ford sedan, a Hyundai Accord and a Hyundai Sonata — was reported near milepost 40.8 in Parsippany-Troy Hills Township just before 5:55 a.m., NJSP Trooper Alejandro Goez told Daily Voice. One driver was taken to Morristown Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Goez said. All lanes were reopened around 7 a.m., Goez said.

UPDATE: A woman and teenage boy from Lodi had to be cut from their sedan after it was smashed in a multi-vehicle pileup involving a tractor-trailer Thursday afternoon on Route 17, authorities said. West Milford Man, 21, Killed In Crash
A 21-year-old West Milford man was killed when his hatchback crashed off a local road, authorities said. Jimmy Barreto-Cruz was pronounced dead at the scene after his 2016 Hyundai Veloster overturned in the woods off Cahill Cross Road shortly after 6:30 p.m. last Thursday, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and West Milford Police Chief James Devore said in a release Monday. Trenton Woman, 33, Killed In Mercer County Crash
The victim of Sunday's fatal crash in Mercer County has been identified, authorities said. Lauren Lewis, 33, of Trenton was killed when her Hyundai sedan went off the eastbound side of Interstate Interstate-195 in Hamilton Township, New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan said. Lewis' vehicle run into the woods near Exit 5B of I-195 about 5:35 p.m., state police said. The exit ramp was closed during an investigation of the crash. Last week, a 16-year-old Trenton girl was killed in a crash near Exit3B on the westbound side of the same highway.

Monroe Woman, 81, Dies Of Injuries From 3-Car Crash
An 81-year-old Monroe Township woman died Sunday from injuries she sustained in a three-car crash on Route 1 in South Brunswick, authorities said. Theresa Dowling succumbed to her injuries Sunday at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, South Brunswick police said. Dowling was driving a 2017 Lexus westbound on Henderson Road at 10:47 a.m. Friday when she failed to stop for a red light, police said. Police arrested a 38-year-old Absecon man who they said fled the scene of a crash Monday that killed one person and seriously injured another. A small SUV plowed into an Old Tappan mixed-use building on Friday. The older-model Hyundai continued through a handicapped parking space, mounted a small curb and hit the façade of the Old Tappan Road building between two columns at the entrance.
