Omar Griggs was taken into custody Wednesday after an investigation identified him as a suspect in two separate shootings that occurred on Monday, Dec. 30 on Barker Road and Tuesday, Dec. 31 on King Road in Somerset, authorities said.
Approximately 27 shots were fired during the Barker Road home occupied by a resident, officials said. No injuries were reported.
A male resident of a King Road home was shot in the leg during another shooting shortly after. He was treated and released at a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
Rome Cruz, 20, and Christopher Williams, 23, were taken into custody and charged on Feb. 5 in connection with incidents, police said. The two suspects are being held at Somerset County Jail.
Several other individuals were arrested in a fatal shooting and high-speed chase Dec. 31.
Griggs was charged with two counts of first-degree attempted murder and one count of second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
Griggs is being held at Somerset County Jail pending a bail detention hearing.
