A Sunday morning service at a Point Pleasant Beach church was disrupted when a man dropped a gun and falsely claimed to be a police officer, authorities said. Randolph Tashman of Toms River was arrested on Sunday, Nov. 17, the Point Pleasant Beach Police Department said in a news release. A Manalapan police officer was indicted after he was accused of inappropriately contacting a second teen girl, authorities said. A grand jury indicted 47-year-old Kevin Ruditsky on 19 counts, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in a news release on Thursday, Oct. 24. Wanted Man Claimed He Was State Trooper During Jersey Shore Noise Complaint Call: Police
Two Atlantic City men were accused of threatening officers responding to a noise complaint, including a wanted man who claimed he was a state trooper, authorities said. Brigantine police arrested 23-year-old Jonathan Murillo and 22-year-old Onix Murillo-Hernandez on Monday, June 10, the department said in a news release.
