Authorities ID Man Stabbed Dead In Elizabeth A 39-year-old man was stabbed to death Wednesday afternoon in Elizabeth, authorities said. Jermaine Brockington was rushed to Trinitas Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead just before 1 p.m., Acting Union County Prosecutor Lyndsay V. Ruotolo said. The incident occurred on the 100 block of Third Street, around 12:20 p.m., reports say. A suspect was in custody as of 12:50 p.m., local officials confirmed.
