A 26-year-old Newark man was sentenced 10 years in prison on Thursday, Aug. 1 after pleading guilty to offering two teenagers narcotics for sex in Morris County last year, authorities said. A 45-year-old woman has been charged in connection with a three-car crash that killed a beloved Morris County father of four. A 52-year-old man was killed in a triple-car crash involving a box truck in Morris County early Monday, authorities confirmed. The man was behind the wheel of a Jeep Wrangler heading south on Shunpike Road in Chatham Township when he was struck by a Nissan Rouge heading west near the intersection of Lafayette Avenue around 11:30 a.m., Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Police in Chatham are searching for leads in three home burglaries that occurred over the weekend, authorities said. Homes on Highland Avenue, Hall Road and Glenmere Drive were entered and burglarized by an unknown suspect early Sunday morning, Chatham Police said.
