Hugh Jackman, Kate Hudson Film Movie At Popular NJ Tavern

Montclair got a taste of Hollywood this week, courtesy of Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson.

The two were filming the movie "Song Sung Blue" at the legendary Tierney's Tavern, the township confirmed.

"Song Sung Blue" is based on a documentary about a Neil Diamond impersonator who marries a Patsy Cline impersonator. The movie, which began production in October, is directed by Craig Brewer.

Tierney's Tavern, a two-floor Irish tavern has become an institution in the township, first opening in 1934.

Tierney's Tavern was the only location used in Montclair, a spokesman for the township said.
