NJ Student Killed In Pedestrian Crash On UMass-Dartmouth Campus A 19-year-old University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth student from the Jersey Shore was struck and killed by a car on campus, college officials said. Frankie Petillo Jr. was struck by a vehicle on Thursday, April 6, according to the college chancellor. Petillo, of the Manahawkin section of Strafford, was a freshman Bioengineering student. The college held a candlelight vigil on Monday.
