The crash occurred at about 11:15 a.m. Monday, April 1 north of Exit 28 (Black Horse Pike) in Haddon Heights, according to New Jersey State Police.
Two of three lanes were closed to traffic, 511nj.org reported.
Based on a preliminary investigation, a Chevy passenger vehicle was parked on the right shoulder and a tractor-trailer was traveling southbound on I-295. In the area of milepost 28.4, the driver of the tractor-trailer lost directional control, ran off the roadway, sideswiped the Chevy, and subsequently collided with two other vehicles after reentering the lanes of travel, State Police said.
The driver of the Chevy sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital, State Police said. No other injuries were reported.
The crash remains under investigation and there is no additional information available.
