Firefighter, 22, Dies In Central Jersey Motorcycle Crash: Police
A 22-year-old firefighter was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday evening, May 17 in Central Jersey, his department confirmed.
East Brunswick police said only that Robert J. Oross, also known as RJ, was involved in a crash with another vehicle at Summerhill Road and Racetrack Road at around 5:16 p.m.
Oross, of Spotswood, was critically injured and pronounced dead, police said. The driver of the other vehicle was not hurt and remained at the scene, according to the release.

An unidentified man was hit by a vehicle on Tuesday, April 8 in Glassboro, authorities said.
At 8:21 p.m., the man was walking south in the northbound lane of Delsea Drive when he was struck in front of Smash Bros., Glassboro police said. Officers could not locate any identification or a cell phone belonging to him, police said.
The man remains hospitalized and police are hoping to identify him to notify his family who may be looking for him, officers said.

Two people from Elizabeth, including an 8-year-old girl were killed in a crash on Route 295 in Burling County on the evening of Sunday, April 6.
At 10:17 p.m., a Hyundai Santa Fe and Hyundai Tucson were traveling northbound on Route 295 in Florence, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey Police said. The Santa Fe struck a guardrail, re-entered the roadway and collided with the Tucson, Lebron said. The impact caused both vehicles to run off the road and strike several trees, Lebron said.

Two 20-year-olds were killed when their car veered off Interstate 195 and slammed into trees early Sunday, March 9, authorities said.
Denzel George, of Ewing, and Janae Boisseau, of Trenton, were traveling east in an Acura when the vehicle ran off the road near milepost 10 in Upper Freehold Township, New Jersey State Police Sergeant First Class Charles Marchan said.
The crash happened at 3:01 a.m., when the Acura struck two trees, ejecting both occupants and killing them, Marchan said.
