Man Airlifted In Tree Branch Incident In Sussex County:

A 47-year-old man was airlifted to a local hospital Monday morning, Dec. 30 after being struck by a tree branch in Sussex County, police said. Troopers responded to the scene on Puder Road in Fredon at approximately 8:02 a.m. to assist with the medical emergency, according to New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron. The man sustained moderate injuries from the incident, authorities said. Emergency responders transported the victim by helicopter for medical treatment. Some quick thinking from the Department of Public Works led to the extinguishing of a porch fire in Andover Township on Friday, Dec. 27, authorities said. A would-be George Washington Bridge jumper was hospitalized Tuesday night, Sept. 24, after bringing traffic along the bridge to a halt, authorities said. A spokesperson for the Port Authority Police Department confirmed the investigation but not have any further information as of 7:40 p.m. Wednesday morning, a spokesperson said that the incident was reported at 5:42 p.m. near the 179th Street ramp in the westbound lanes. Teen Football Player Airlifted After Losing Feeling In Legs In Sussex County, Police Say
A 13-year-old boy was airlifted to the hospital after he was injured playing football on the evening of Saturday, Sept. 21, in Sussex County authorities said.
