Serious Crash Cleared On I-287, Slowdowns Occurring

A crash involving several vehicles on Interstate 287 that initially blocked two lanes has been cleared, according to New York State Police.

The crash took place around 8 a.m., Wednesday, April 10, westbound on I-287 near the South Ridge Street overpass in Rye Brook, state police said.

Two westbound lanes have reopened, but traffic is still backed up for several miles. 

There was no report of injuries.
