Lakeland To Play In State Field Hockey Semifinals

SHRUB OAK, N.Y. -- The unbeaten Section 1 Class B champ Lakeland field hockey team is set to square off against Section 4 champ Vestal in the Class B state semifinals on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 9:30 a.m. in Syracuse, according to LoHud.com.

Lakeland has won four consecutive state titles, so there is plenty of experience, but they need to be weary of a scrappy, upstart Vestal team that could give them headaches, LoHud.com said.
