YORKTOWN, N. Y. -- A Yorktown man is facing charges of driving with a revoked license after he was stopped by Yorktown police Tuesday.
Police said an officer was on routine patrol along Crompond Road when he stopped Michael Cruz, 3228 Beaver Drive, for multiple traffic violations.
After some checking, police determined that Cruz's driver's license was revoked on Oct. 9 because of three speeding tickets within the last 18 months, police said.
He was arrested and then charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, a misdemeanor, in addition to the traffic violations, police said. He was released, and due in Yorktown Town Court on Nov. 12.
