YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- A Yorktown man who failed to license his dogs will find himself in court in November after the dogs jumped on children, according to the Yorktown police.
Matthew Jaros, 46, was charged with two counts of failing to license his animals after police responded to a call that two children had been jumped on by his two dogs on Saw River Mill Road, police said.
When police arrived, they discovered that Jaros had not licensed the two animals. He was processed at his home on the two violations and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 17.
