Three Face Drug Possession Charges After Taconic Parkway Stop

EAST FISHKILL, N.Y. — Three men are facing drug possession charges after being stopped by state police on the Taconic Parkway on Wednesday.

Two 22-year olds from Newburgh, Tyrin T. Gayle and Gabriel D. Warren, along with 23-year-old Gary E. Dunlap, Jr., of Peekskill, were stopped after state troopers noticed a 2001 Audi speeding. 

The three men were found to possess 1.2 grams of heroin, state police said. .

All three men were charged with a misdemeanor, criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Warren was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana as well.

The trio were remanded to the Dutchess County Jail after arraignment.
