Ariana Muriqi, of Yorktown Heights, was arrested around 10:35 a.m., Sunday, June 16, after being stopped for traveling 57 mph in a 40 mph zone on Danbury Road at Westport Road, said the Wilton Police Department.

While speaking with Muriqi, officers said she revealed "several indicators," that drugs might be involved. A drug-detecting K-9 was requested at the scene, police said.

Once the dog arrived, it altered "positively" to the presence of drugs, police said.

A search of the vehicle uncovered a small bag of cocaine and a plastic straw cut short, that later tested positive for cocaine residue, police said.

Muriqi was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding.

She was later released on $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 27.
