Putnam Motorist Who Crosses Double Yellow Line Had Heroin, Yorktown PD Says

A 31-year-old Putnam Valley man was arrested and charged with possession heroin following a traffic stop in Yorktown Sunday afternoon.

Vincent Pasciucco was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a Class A misdemeanor.

Police observed Pasciucco crossing a double yellow line on East Main Street. An investigation at the scene revealed Pasciucco to be in possession of the heroin and he was taken back to police headquarter for processing.

In 2010, Pasciccuo and his father were arrested in Sullivan County and charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon and two counts of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.

Pasciucco was released on $250 bail and is due back in court on August 22.
