YORKTOWN, N.Y. – A Newburgh man was charged with theft of services after a cabdriver called to complain that she had been stiffed on her fare to Yorktown, police said.
Theodore Jones Jr., 42, who told police he is homeless, was arrested on Tuesday on Gregory Street, police said.
The charge is a misdemeanor, police said.
Jones was being held for arraignment Tuesday at police headquarters in Yorktown, police said.
