NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. — Former New Rochelle resident George E. Hernandez, a longtime Stony Point resident, died Saturday, June 4. He was 63.
A native of Colombia, Hernandez worked for many years at Clear Channel Advertising in New Rochelle.
Hernandez is survived by his wife, Joan (Haffner) Hernandez; his children, Michelle Lynn and Jonathan David Hernandez; his mother, Rosa Hernandez; and his sister, Janet Amigh.
Hernandez was predeceased by his brother, Luis.
Visiting will be from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle, where a funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday.
Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
