Francis Kelly, 87, Carlstadt Resident

CARLSTADT, N.J. — Carlstadt resident Francis Kelly, formerly of Wood-Ridge, died Sunday, June 5. He was 87.

Born in Hoboken, Kelly was a machinist for the American Can Company in Hoboken and a past president and served on the board of directors of the O.C.N.A.C. Union and was a former member of the United Steelworkers Union. 

Kelly is survived by his wife, Chris (Ferrara) Kelly; son, Timmy Kelly; daughter, Patti Miles and her husband, Barry; son, Richie Kelly and his wife, Karen; daughter, Dawn Cinelli and her husband, Glen; granddaughters, Lacie, Barbara, Veronica, Theresa, Samantha; grandson, Michael; and four great-grandchildren.

Kelly was predeceased by his siblings, Walter, Harry, Grace and Raymond Kelly and Dottie Valentine; and his parents, Grace and Harry Kelly.

Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. Thursday. The funeral service will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday at Costa Memorial Home, Boulevard and Central Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights.

Private cremation will follow.
