Alert Issued For Missing Teenager In Westchester

An alert has been issued for a 14-year-old teenager in Westchester who suffers from behavioral issues and has been reported missing.

The Yonkers Police Department issued the alert for Ethan Aponte, who was reported missing as of 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 6. They noted that he suffers from behavioral issues and ADHD.

Police said that Aponte was last seen in the area of Gorton High School on Shonnard Place in Yonkers. He was wearing a gray sweater, black pants and red sneakers.

Aponte was described as being 5-foot-8, weighing approximately 220 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts has been asked to contact the Yonkers Police Department by calling (914) 377-7900 or 911.
