This year's event is hosted by the Holly Pond School from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23, at the Darien YMCA.

The event is the school's largest fundraiser of the year and is designed for preschool and elementary school-age children and their families.

Magician Danny Magic will be on hand for entertainment, as well as Whack-a-Mole arcade games, pony rides and bouncy castles.

Food will include pizza, baked goods, a gourmet grilled cheese food truck and handcrafted Bolyan Soda root beer floats.

Children also will get the chance to decorate their own pumpkins, build a candy bag, get their faces painted, participate in arts and crafts, and more.

The event will be held regardless of the weather conditions, with tickets costing $30 per family.

All proceeds will benefit the Holly Pond School.
