Woman Falls Onto Train Tracks At MTA Station In Westchester

A woman was rescued after falling onto the train tracks at a busy Metro-North station in Westchester County early Thursday morning, May 8, authorities said.

The incident happened around 7 a.m. on Thursday at the Croton-Harmon Train Station, according to the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department.

Emergency responders from Croton Fire, Croton EMS, Ossining Paramedic Fly-Car, MTA Police, and Croton Police rushed to the scene after receiving reports of a female who had fallen off the platform and onto the tracks.

Fortunately, no trains were approaching at the time, and first responders quickly worked together to safely lift the woman off the tracks.

The woman was treated and taken to Westchester Medical Center for her injuries. Her condition has not been publicly released.
