Ossining Health Advantage Helps Train Next Generation Of Care Providers

As healthcare jobs in both Westchester County and across the nation continue to grow, one of the area's premier educators is offering prospective students the chance to join the field through a specially tailored curriculum.

Westchester Community College's Ossining Health Advantage is allowing students interested in obtaining a degree in healthcare to do so right in Westchester County.

Thanks to Westchester Community College's Ossining Health Advantage, students interested in pursuing a healthcare focused degree can do so at the school's unique learning community in the Ossining Extension Center. The program will allow students to continue their education towards careers in allied health, healthcare administration and health education. Scholarships are provided by the Higher Education Research and Scholarship Foundation through the Westchester Community College Foundation.

Since its foundation in January 2001, The Ossining Extension Center has put into practice the college’s commitment to offering high quality, low cost education at convenient locations throughout the county.

An open house for prospective students will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 15 from 4 to 5 p.m. The Ossining Extension Center of Westchester Community College is located at 22 Rockledge Avenue in Ossining.
