MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Westchester County Police today said they charged a teacher with rape in connection with two sexual encounters she had with a 16-year-old boy at a county park in Mount Vernon.
Meaghan White, 34, of Valley Cottage, N.Y., was taken into custody at her home last night and was formally charged at 2 a.m. with third-degree rape and third-degree criminal sexual act, both felonies, police said.
She is accused of having intercourse and oral sex with the teen in her car at Wilson’s Woods Park in Mount Vernon between Nov. 10 and Dec. 4, according to police.
White, a teacher at the Leake & Watts residential facility in Yonkers, will be arraigned today in Mount Vernon City Court.
