Two Injured In Yonkers Assault

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Yonkers Police responded to reports of an assault at 82 Pondfield Road West at 4:05 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14 that resulted in two injuries, police officials said.

Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered a 46-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his neck. He was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive his injuries, according to Yonkers Police.

The other victim, a 45-year-old female also reported a head injury, police said.
