The Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section is attempting to locate a man who was caught stealing from outside a residence in Farmingville earlier this month.

Police investigators released photos of a man who allegedly stole four wind chimes from the porch of a Portion Road residence at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 11. The stolen items had a value of approximately $160, according to the police.

Anyone who recognizes the man, or who has information regarding his whereabouts has been asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or texting “SCPD” with the message to 274637.
