House Fire Breaks Out Near Scarsdale-Yonkers Border

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - Fire crews in Yonkers were dispatched to a Windsor Terrace property on Thursday afternoon where there were reports of a house fire.

Firefighters arrived at 24 Windsor Terrace at approximately 3 p.m. on Thursday, where there was a basement fire.

Crews swiftly knocked down the flames and were able to contain the fire to the basement. The main body of the fire was reported under control within a half hour. There were no injuries reported.
