YONKERS, N.Y. -- The family of Sharlene Stinson is seeking official records for the Nov. 23 fatal police chase on Warburton Avenue in Yonkers, according to lohud.com.
According to court documents, the family is seeking the names of the police officers involved in the chase as well as information on the vehicles. The papers accuse officials of withholding information from the family, reported lohud.
As previously reported, Sharlene Stinson was killed after a van chased by Yonkers police crashed into her vehicle. One of the teens in the van, Jerry Crawford, 16, later died from the crash. A 14-year-old girl survived.
