YONKERS, N.Y. - Marie Wiemer (nee Gojlik), a lifelong Yonkers resident, died Monday, Oct. 13. She was 89.
Wiemer was born Dec. 16, 1924, to Dominick and Anna Halyczky Gojlik, in Yonkers, where she was raised and educated.
Wiemer is survived by her son, John Wiemer of Mohegan Lake; daughters, Linda Van Dam (Richard) of Newtown, Conn., and Lorraine Miro (Joseph) of Cortlandt Manor; and a grandson. She was predeceased by her husband, John J. Wiemer; son, Ronald Wiemer; brother, Joseph; and sister, Frances.
A memorial visitation and service will be held at a future date which will be announced.
