Joseph W. Kistinger, Former Yonkers Resident, 91

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Joseph W. Kistinger, a former Yonkers resident, died on Sunday, Feb. 1. He was 91.

Kistinger served as Chief Quarter Master in the U.S. Navy in WWII. He was retired from Chase Manhattan and Hudson Valley National banks. 

Kistinger is survived by his wife Peggy, his children Joe (Marion), Bob (Anne), Marge (Bobby) Ann (Rich) and Eileen (Ed). He also is survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held at the Flynn Memorial Home on Thursday 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Eugene's Church, 707 Tuckahoe Road, Yonkers at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
