YONKERS, N.Y. - Cynthia W. Knox (nee Warren), a lifelong Yonkers resident, died Thursday, Nov. 20. She was 72.

Knox was born Jan. 12, 1942, to Layton and Marjorie Parker Warren in Yonkers, where she was raised and educated. She was a school aide for the City of Yonkers School #9 for 14 years until her retirement in 2002.

Knox is survived by her daughters, Marjorie Kalogridis (George) of Yonkers and Emily and Kathleen Knox, both of Yonkers; and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John Knox.

A funeral service will be held Monday, Nov. 24 at 10 a.m. in the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
