YONKERS, N.Y. - Carolyn Adams of Yonkers died Saturday, Aug. 3. She was 67.
Adams was born and raised in Gastonia, N.C., and was a 1964 graduate of Highland High School. After graduation, she relocated to Yonkers, where she was employed with the Bank of New York from 1967 until retirement in 2008.
Adams is survived by her mother, Floree Adams of Yonkers; many cousins; and friends.
Calling hours are Thursday, Aug. 8 from 9 to 10 a.m. at Institutional A.M. E. Zion Church, 42 Bishop William J. Walls Place, Yonkers, NY 10701. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson, New York.
