OCEAN CITY, Md. - Audrey Foley (nee Stammel) of Yonkers died Aug. 17. She was 85.
Foley was born Sept. 23, 1927, in Yonkers, to Arthur and Helen (Schunk) Stammel. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church for 40 years. After working for Verizon in White Plains and being a longtime resident of Yonkers, N.Y., she moved to Ocean City and lived there for 20 years.
Foley is survived by her son, Richard (Mary) Foley of Mahopac; daughters, Gayle (Michael) Harman of Deer Park, N.Y., and Colleen Browne of Mahopac, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph F. Foley; and sister, Helen Walsh.
Calling hours are Friday, Aug. 23 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24 at Sacred Heart Church with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
