YONKERS, N.Y. -- Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano is asking for submissions to fill two upcoming vacancies with the city’s Board of Education.

Interested applicants can apply online at yonkersny.gov.

Applications will be reviewed by the Mayor's Education Redesign Team. Once the team creates a list of candidates, Spano will appoint the new board members.

The upcoming vacancies are the result of Christine A. Balko and Trevor H. Bennett’s five year terms coming to an end on May 4.
