YONKERS, N. Y. -- Two Yonkers men who work at the Riverview Stationery store are facing criminal gambling charges after Yonkers police say they found evidence of a gambling operation during an early Friday raid, according to a News 12 report.
Owner Wilbert Hernandez, 39, and employee Gustavo Maturana, 50, have both been charged with promoting gambling along with possession of gambling devices and records after the police raid at the store, says News 12.
Police told News 12 Westchester that they found poker machines, sports betting materials and about $6,000 in cash.
