WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Ninety-seven-year-old Tao Porchon-Lynch, of White Plains, the world's oldest yogi, is featured in The New York Times teaching her regular Wednesday class at the JCC of Mid Westchester in Scarsdale.

Beginners and experienced students were in the class she's taught "for decades," The New York Times said.

During it, she walked around adjusting student's poses, and moved through her own "with no apparent effort," including a pose in which she supported herself in suspension from the floor with her arms, reported The New York Times.

She danced for two hours before teaching that class, said the report.

Last year, Porchon-Lynch, whose has had three hip replacements, and her 26-year-old partner proceeded to the second round in "America's Got Talent," bringing Howard Stern and Heidi Klum to their feet.

Yoga Teachers Association of the Hudson Valley hosted Tao Porchon-Lynch at Club Fit on Saturday, June 11.

She has been named "Oldest Yoga Teacher" by Guinness World Records. Porchon-Lynch began yoga at the age of eight, and her mantra is "There Is Nothing You Cannot Do."
